英検1級多解きチャレンジ【W：25-27/36回】

今日は英検1級多解きチャレンジWriting編です。

今日の過去問 ：2016年第3回、2017年度第1回、第2回

今回から2019年度版の過去問に取り組んでいます。普段使っている問題集に収録されている「本論の断片」を活用して、エッセイを書いてみました。概ね「本論の断片」を活用することで対応できそうですが、ここまであまり気にしていなかった序論と結論の書き方を考えておく必要がありそうです。例えば序論なら

Some people agree that ~, but others do not.
It is a highly controversial issue whether or not ~.

など、なかなか書き出せず時間を使ってしまわないように自分の形を決めてしまったほうが良さそうですね。

その他

・裏づけとなる具体的な数字を含めることで説得力が増す
・「メリット、デメリットのどちらが大きいか」を問うトピックでは、序論で「メリット(orデメリット)があるが、次のようなデメリット(orメリット)が上回る」ように述べて、本論でも同じ流れで具体的に書く
・canやwillではなくcouldやwouldを用いると断定的なことを避けた表現になる
・段落の字下げははっきりとさせる
・助動詞や完了形等の短縮形は使わない、使うとしてもcannotくらい
・無生物主語を基本とし、I,Weはほとんど使わない

まとめ

3月から「本論の断片」を音読・暗唱し始めました。実際に話そうとすると詰まってしまって全然スムーズに話せません、、、。普段からもっともっと口に出して慣らさないとダメですね。1日1断片からと思っていましたが全然甘かったので、1日4～5断片にしてペースを上げることにしました。ここ3日間はReading&Listeningの復習に時間を使ってしまいあまりできていないので週末に取り戻します。

来週は2019年度版の過去問の後半3回分に挑戦します！
